Screening Physician - CRO in London - Entry Level Role

Richmond Pharmacology is a leading early-phase Contract Research Organization based in the London Bridge area. We are currently seeking a Screening Doctor to join our team of Research Physicians looking after healthy volunteers over the course of multiple, sponsored drug research projects, often-times first-in-human.
This role is very much the first rung on the ladder for our Research Physicians and we expect successful candidates to develop rapidly, progressively acquiring the skills needed to be a fully fledged Research Physician within 12 months of coming on board. Initial tasks and responsibilities for the role will include
  • Physical examinations and clerking
  • ECG's
  • Assessment of vitals
  • Assessment of lab results from bloods and urine samples to ensure protocol compliance
  • Follow up examinations after completion of study
  • Record and maintain integrity of patient and study data
  • Focus on study protocols and adherence to GCP and all other applicable regulatory standards
Throughout the course of your time in the Screening Doctor role, you will be expected to complete core clinical training giving you added insight into the workings of a clinical trial and arming you with the competencies necessary to successfully complete a study. Your development and progress is actively encouraged and carefully monitored to ensure that you are getting the best out of your time in this position.
In order to be considered for the role, you will need to be fully GMC registered and will ideally have a couple of years experience post FY2. You will need excellent communication skills as the role will have you interacting with patients, all departments internally and external study sponsors. It is expected that you will have completed at least some of your professional medical training in the UK and will be familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the UK medical establishment.
Starting basic salary £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + bonuses and benefits.
Total package circa £60,000 to £65,000.
If you would like to apply for the role, please submit a current copy of your CV quoting reference RPL031218SDSW in your SUBJECT LINE.
