Wavelength bring the exclusive opportunity for a 2 Registrars and either a 3rd Registrar or Senior RMO to join a leading private hospital in the Medical Rehabilitation Unit, following a medical remodelling of the department. Working primarily office hours from Monday to Friday this role is well suited to those seeking an enticing work-life balance. If desired, there may be opportunity to negotiate after hours cover as well. Based in central Perth, you will enjoy a Mediterranean climate and relaxed lifestyle in a beautiful and spacious city.

These well supported roles will see you working alongside dedicated Consultants who will provide supervision as well as excellent training and upskilling opportunities including outpatient work. Further, the Consultants will review the boundaries of your clinical responsibilities as your experience grows. On a day to day basis you will provide high quality clinical care to all patients within the 24-bed unit, working closely as a team with all nursing and allied health staff. You will assist with the investigation, documentation and care plans of the patients and at times you may be required to supervise and support junior staff, especially in the Registrar roles. During office hours, Registrars will also be expected to provide acute medical cover to the rest of the hospital on a rostered basis.

You will be based in central Perth, basking in warm and sunny weather for most of the year. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore the soft-sand beaches, glassy waters and beautiful parks not far from the thriving hub of small bars, creative restaurants and lively street art. As for housing, you will find affordable options particularly on the outskirts of the city, with a lot of development happening in recent years.

Essential Criteria
To be successful in applying for these positions, you must be PGY3+ in your level of experience. You must have completed your degree and foundation years in Ireland, the UK, Canada or the USA or you must have completed PLAB part 1 + 2 plus 12 months of supervised practise within Ireland or the UK.

You will be able to commence from early February 2019 onwards, making a commitment of at least 12 months.
