JOB DESCRIPTION

As an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist you will have experience of working with people with mental and physical heath co-morbidities and will have a CCT and RC eligibility.

You will join an established service with an experienced multi-disciplinary team that looks after people with chronic and enduring psychiatric conditions often complicated by physical healthcare complications and cognitive impairment. The service includes a specialist dementia unit and works closely with a specialist service in Leeds.

Break away from the big city and enjoy stunning countryside views with lots of convenient amenities on your doorstep. It's the perfect combination. And its location in Steeton, near Keighley, makes it easy to commute to from Burton, Leeds, Halifax and all local towns and villages.

Three Valley's hospital has been rated 'Good' by the CQC, and is a 43 bed mental health service for adults.

Working for Elysium Healthcare you give you access to a large and supportive peer group of like-minded professionals.

Benefits of working for Elysium

In return for your expertise and hard work, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits, including:

  • 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • A Group Personal Pension Plan (GPPP)
  • Life Assurance
  • Free meals while on duty, and free parking
  • Continuous learning and development
  • Plus much more

If bringing a unique approach to the delivery of care, where people are embedded in the heart of all aspects of hospital life and working inclusively to shape the care they receive is how you want to work, then you're reading the right job advert.

You would be joining one of the largest and most experienced independent providers of mental health services in England, with a network of over 70 sites covering Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Children and Education and Mental health.

Developing you regularly to ensure you're on the cutting edge and at the top of your game is important to us. You'll have access to excellent CPD and career development opportunities, plus access to a large peer group of enthusiastic and high-calibre consultants.
